We have had our first Artificial Intelligence (AI) phone call.

When you are getting a phone call, please look at the caller ID to make sure that it is a familiar phone number when the person starts talking to you.

We had an instance yesterday where a phone call came in from Minnesota but had the voice of one of our own managers from the dealership asking this person to do something for them. We get these in written from via email quite a bit but now it is happening on the phone.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND AWARE OF WHERE THE PHONE CALL IS COMING FROM AND IF YOU RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER (702 of 725 area code from one of the managers especially).

Here is another PHISHING email PLEASE DO NOT PUSH OR CLICK “UNLOCK MESSAGES HERE”.

This is one of the latest emails that want us to go “PHISHING” and take the bait. PLEASE DO NO TAKE THE BAIT! If you look at the email address highlighted in yellow you can see this is not a …chevy.com address or pvautoplaza.com. That is the easiest way to see a PHISHING email.

There are a lot of ways for hackers to get into databases and steal information. Phishing Emails are on of them. It looks like today there is a new coming into everyone. Be aware and don’t click on the links in the emails. One way to tell if it is fake is by the email address is came from. It looks like this:
